On 2 November we attended a celebration of 40 years of Canaan Christian Bookshop at Christ Church, Staines.
Barry Mockford, the present manager, spoke about the future, while Andy Gilmour, who was manager for 38 years, has written a book about the shop’s history.
It was an encouraging evening of thanksgiving and prayer, and many spoke about how Canaan has helped them. We pray that Canaan and other Christian bookshops will continue to minister to those around them.
