A LITTLE BOY began crying during a special Father’s Day service held at an Iraqi refugee school in Jordan set up by the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East (FRME).
The Vicar of Baghdad, Canon Andrew White, who founded the FRRME, was giving out crosses for the youngsters to take home to their dads.
Canon White said: “One of the little boys started to cry and said he wanted one for his daddy but his daddy was killed by Daesh (Islamic State).
“I gave him a cross and said, ‘Put this on the altar and this is for your daddy’.”
The Iraqi Government has accredited the school and now want FRRME to establish three further schools in Jordan – pending donations from FRRME supporters.
