Father Murphy PLANS TO CLOSE a Catholic Chapel and convert it into a Muslim prayer room at North Manchester General Hospital were dropped after a local priest, Father Gen Murphy, of St Patrick’s and St Malachy’s Parish Church in Collyhurst, got 1,000 signatures in 24 hours opposing the idea.
