Survival skills expert Bear Grylls reveals how his marriage and family life survive the pressures of modern values. He never goes a day without prayer.
In the Daily Mail, Grylls described how he kneels to pray with his three sons every bedtime, prays for his wife and gives thanks before meals.
Grylls explained: “It’s a sign of humility. Something I aspire to in today’s world.”
His daily prayer for wife Shara is very simple: “Good night, sleep well, may God bless you. I love you, you are the best.”
The TV presenter and Chief Scout added: “My faith wavers every day. I get nervous talking about it. It’s personal, it’s a journey; but it’s the glue to my life.”
Grylls has talked about his faith on many occasions and has helped promote the Alpha course.
