Healed through praising
This year I celebrated the anniversary of a wonderful miracle, thanks to God and my many praying friends.
In August 2019 I suffered a major stroke. Happily I was in sheltered housing, so was soon taken to our local hospital where I lay, unable to speak or move.
In my helplessness, I decided I would praise the Lord anyway, and after a few hours managed a faint humming of “O happy day, when Jesus took my sins away!”
On his rounds next day, the doctor derided my singing and pronounced that, at 92, I was a hopeless case. I saw him shaking his head when he was discussing me with his group of colleagues and students.
However, the following morning, I got out of bed and said, “Look, I can talk and stand up!”
After a few days, the doctors admitted, “You’ve made better progress than we thought and are thinking of sending you home!”
So just one week after a major stroke I went home and here I am, 18 months later, able to go out shopping, walking in the park and learning to love Jesus more and more daily!

Unkind reaction
I was dismayed to read about the pastor who went on Facebook celebrating the cancellation of an event for gay people.
Yes, the reaction of those who wanted to burn down his church was extreme and the attitude of the local police was somewhat alarming on hearing of a threat of arson.
However, when will we learn that it’s “the kindness of God that leads to repentance?”
No one will listen to us if we appear disrespectful and unkind. People don’t care how much we know until they know how much we care.

Essential reading
HEART newspaper and Revelation TV are essential for these times.
Regular newspapers and news programmes cannot be believed or trusted – they are lies and intrigue. All the nonsense is now beyond tiresome. I can’t wait for each paper to arrive. May God miraculously double your bank balance and bless you with health and strength.

All the fake news in the media is an attempt to cloud our minds to the truth. It’s largely obfuscation and psychobabble!
