If you have an iPad or iPhone and children age 2-7, they’ll love the ‘Wriggly Nativity’ app.
It’s a unique way for children to engage with the Christmas story. It has been published by Sussex Starshine Music which is based in Pevensey, near Eastbourne.
The app is based on the nativity show, ‘A Wriggly Nativity’, by Peter Fardell. The Christmas story is told by children, with excerpts from all the songs and illustrations by Matilda Tristram, three games to play and more.
It is “a great example of what can be done when we embrace the potential of new technology in children’s ministry”, said Martin Saunders of ‘Childrenswork’ magazine.
“What a belting app… fresh, dynamic, with plenty of interactive features to bring the nativity to life at school and at home. Worth its weight in frankincense, gold and myrrh!”, commented John Dabell, ‘Teach Primary’ magazine. It can be downloaded for £2.99.
