Canon James Clarke, Vicar of All Saints Lindfield, introduced Rev Hugh Bourne to a full church as the parish’s latest training curate on June 29.
Hugh was one of 16 men and women ordained Deacon in Chichester Cathedral the previous day. Originally from Bedford, he has studied and worked in Sussex in the past. He is married to Alison and they have two young sons.
James Clarke commented “We are delighted to welcome Hugh, Alison and the boys to Lindfield. We pray God’s blessing upon them as they become part of our church fellowship for the next few years.”
Hugh replied, “We look forward to serving and sharing not only the Gospel but our lives as well.”
