You’ve read how Jenny Holder survived ‘incurable’ cancer on p3 of this paper. Now find out how husband Jonathan received a miracle gift of restored sight
Dyslexic step-dad Jonathan Holder had a degenerative eye condition and was facing going blind. But his sight has miraculously improved without any treatment – confirmed by his optician.
When Jonathan attended a pre-arranged appointment to check his eyes, a surprised optician told Jonathan: “God has clearly done a good work.”
Her previous diagnosis had been negative, but now all she could see was a “remarkable improvement”. Her report stated that Jonathan would probably not lose his eyesight after all, as she confirmed the improvement was “incredible”, and the previously denied special lens could now be made for him.
Jonathan traces the remarkable change to a summer conference at New Life Family Church, Margate, which he attended with his wife, Jenny. (Her amazing story is on page 3 of this issue of HEART, too.)
During the service, Jonathan experienced his eyesight improving. The check-up confirmed what he already knew.
Uplifted and refreshed, Jonathan is now trusting God for a job move that will allow him to work nearer home. Beaming, he said his work was “all part of God’s process for me – just watch this space. God has always been faithful and sent me to jobs where I can talk about Jesus and I have led people to the Lord.”
