Author Peter Mullen, perhaps best known for his book ‘The Secular Terrorist’ (sub-titled, ‘The suicide of Christian Britain’), which addresses the process of secularisation of the UK in the last 50 years, came to Chichester to launch his latest book.

He signed copies of ‘Prophets & Visionaries’, which is cameo portraits of eight leading English thinkers and writers from Samuel Johnson to RG Collingwood, at a special launch at St Olav’s bookshop in late November.
According to Peter’s publisher, Richard Roper of Roper-Penberthy, “Peter is retired now but he was vicar of St Michael’s Cornhill in the City of London for many years and built up a good-sized congregation. He has a Doctorate in Philosophy and writes regularly for the Church of England newspaper. He lives in Eastbourne now.”
