A Christian chemical engineering student in Karachi, Pakistan, was beaten so badly by a Muslim mob that he lost his sight.
Accompanied by an Islamic cleric, 26 men beat Vikram Alvin and then attacked his father and brother outside his home when they came out to help him.
After the attack on 18 August, doctors said they do not expect his sight to return.
