The UN agency for culture and education, UNESCO, wants governments to “overcome social opposition” to abortion and gay rights.

A UNESCO document explores ways of manipulating public opinion on abortion rights, gender identity and homosexuality so that these subjects can be included in “comprehensive sexuality education”.

The paper denounces “negative public attitudes” to liberal sex education, “fuelled and propagated by organised opposition and lobbying”.

UN member states have repeatedly rejected UNESCO’s vision for sex education, yet UN agencies continually try to get it adopted in schools around the world.

The paper calls for governments to “carry out the actions necessary” to make comprehensive sex education compulsory, and even recommends that public consultations are designed so that parents, teachers and faith groups who object are defeated.
